The Trossingen lyre is a historically inspired plucked instrument, modeled after one of the oldest surviving lyres discovered in Europe. The original lyre was unearthed in a grave near the town of Trossingen in southern Germany, dating back to the early Middle Ages (around the 6th to 7th century). Crafted from walnut with a birch soundboard, this modern replica uses traditional materials and finishes with linseed oil. Tuned
