1960s vintage ‘Phyliss Sportswear Inc’ metal studs - mod 1890s twin button front fasteningReally a very sharp number! Label reads The Phyliss Look, by Phyliss Sportswear Inc. It looks to be an early type of manmade material at a distance I thought it was hopsack, but close up its more like crimplene (although Id say it just predates it!) The cross hatch design is studded with metal fixings. Fastens to the rear with a metal zipper, its a true shift shape. I am sure its a copy of something I recognise, not Mondrian but another.. but brain
