vintage silky black velvet 1930s to 1940s evening dress with bejewelled bodice tyrolean dipping to either side withSoft black velvet, side metal zip fastening which I think may be an addition. Make do and mend, I believe this has been a long 1930s dinner dress which has been adapted for later use. Has been shortened by hand, and potentially shoulder pads have been removed and sleeves adjusted? It still however has great party appeal! Slight remains of cowl neck and shoulder tuck darting, gold glass bugle beaded bodice with wonderful jewel toned cabochons. Self tie
