Beaver fur exterior is in exceptional condition. However, Silk sash has deteriorated as well as the black silk lining found on the interior brim. Inside you will find some wear as well and handwritten marks on the inside. There is a tiny metal mesh on the very top of the hat that is meant to ventilate air! That hat is made by the Young Bros.
