Blending 1960s inspired melodies with a moody post punk edge, the band drew comparisons with fellow Scottish acts including The Pastels and Jesse Garon & The Desperadoes. Active throughout 1986 and 1987, The Catburgers recorded a series of demos that led Dan Treacy to invite them to record a single for
