Carved Boxwood Ojime Beads Style:Bat Alexandra ChauranThese handcarved boxwood beads are inspired by antique Japanese ojime, the sliding bead on the cord of the inro box, which hangs from the kimono sash and holds medicine, tobacco, etc. These ojime are hand carved by contemporary Chinese master carvers, who take up to four hours to make each one. Vertical hole drilled through center of coil.
