Antique American Carved Mahogany Conversation Sofa Chair Loveseat Tête-à-Tête, Circa 1880 Sold Regency Classicism was characterised bySOLD A fine quality late Victorian conversation chair sofa or (Tte Tte) Circa 1890. This finely carved and upholstered serpentine shaped chair sofa for two people, allowing the sitters to discreetly have a conversation. The curved back supports are ornately carved with a "Green Man" mask surrounded with scrolling foliate, in the Renaissance Revival taste.
