but this head appears to have paint and finish imperfections from the factory

so they just walk on by an steal somethin else… maybe a car or a tiktok or some such

That includes point and shoots and most mirrorless cameras, but probably stops at mid sized DSLRs (max capacity is about 1. 5kg). Anyway, it folds down to about 45cm and extends to a maximum height of about 150cm. This is not an old school, heavy duty Manfrotto, but it's a better quality piece than most simple tripods, and it's in excellent condition.
