Victorian Eagle Intaglio Signet Ring FIDE AC DIFFIDE jade Roman 1st Century ADDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A superb Victorian carnelian signet ring with heraldic intaglio crest and motto. The crest depicts an eagle's head, above a banner with the Latin FIDE AC DIFFIDE, or "Faith and Distrust" (although I'm a little unsure about the "ac").
