Vintage Spode Byron Brown Transferware Plate Farm Dog Chickens Trellis Vine Grapes Harvest Wheat Gathering scene Brownfield & SonsFrom one of my all time favorite transferware patterns, I am offering this wonderful plate from one of Englands finest potters Spode. The pattern is called Byron. Each piece in this series features a different pastoral scene based loosely on the poetry of Byron himself. Equally interesting, is that this pattern was never (to my knowledge) introduced into the United States so even if you do come across it, most likely pieces are located in England. The
