It features two different floral patterns, one on each side. One is Daffodils and the other side is Gentian. It is very striking (pun intended ). I believe this was made as a cigarette holder and ashtray or toothpick holder with a plate for spent picks, but it's a wonderful size thats perfect for holding matches, business cards, bobbi pins or even as a small mini vase. It
