This is a Merens horse, a breed that is indigenous to the Pyrenees region of France. This is a stallion named Thor, named after the Norse God. He was running through a forest, and I positioned myself so the sunlight reflected off his shiny coat and the background was a row of trees in deep shadow. I carefully edited the image to make the background
