Back in 1990, Willem Klepper set up shop on the market of Alkmaar. By 2015, he had 25 years of knowing exactly what his customers loved: sweet licorice with just a hint of salmiak to make it savory, and that perfect bite not too hard, not too soft. So for his anniversary, he and Klepper Jr. went off to find a manufacturer and made it happen. The result is what they call a
