Aesthetic Brown Transferware Square Candy Bowl - Soap Dish - Butter Pat or Trinket DIsh Scrolls & Vines Empress Staffordshire China England Platter with Horses In the foreground a manAESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFER WARE SQUARE DISH For consideration is this antique, square shaped bowl dish by G L Ashworth & Brothers of Hanley, North Staffordshire England in the delicate Empress pattern. This gorgeous Aesthetic Movement pair dates to the later part of the 1800's. The transfer is of flowing scrolls intertwined with leaves and stylized flowers. The same pattern is shown as a small medallion on the center face of the dish. Ashworth later
