Its lightweight, compact form fits comfortably in one hand. The bodys textured surface is created using a traditional technique called itome. After shaping the body and letting it dry, a slightly viscous layer of clay called nota is applied. Threads are then gently pressed into the surface, causing the clay to rise and form
